hey hey, everything is going well :)

So, every night there is a concert in the square..did I already say that? Well anyhow we ussually go to them becuase they´re ussually good....Last night was some kind of Celtic slash hardrock band, I really liked it. Anyhow so we´ve been staying up really late, around 3 or 4, and getting up at 12! yeah so thats definately diferent, but they say its becuase of the celebrations this week. I don´t know :) at anyrate I´m having fun. Today we´re probably going to the amusment park, so that´ll be fun! well, later!

a normal day

So, this morning we went shopping, the stores and prices are really pretty much the same as the US. But we had fun, I´m also getting to know some of Marina´s friends a bit, however I´m not learning much Spanish because they all want to practice English....oh well.

I´m in spain now :)

So, Here I am in spain. My flights, and connections all went very wll.
Lets begin with arriving in Madrid, as soon as I got through customs I met Marina, her father, and her brother. Then they took me on a short tour of Madrid, where we visited down town, and the palace. It was very beautiful!!
After that we headed to León (Marina´s home town) On the way we stopped in a very quaint little town known for it´s wine, and we got a snack in a café.
Then we arrived in León and because I wasn´t really tired she showed me around a bit, its a very nice city, It has a great combination of old, (the 13th century, and new)
On Wedsnday it was the longest day of the year so there was a big fiesta, all night long. We basically went around to pups and cafés all night it was great fun, and no I didn´t get drunk and neither did anyof Marina´s friends, only a few crazy people got drunk. (I hope that is comforting to my parents!)
Anyhow so today I got up at about 1pm which in 6am in US time, so really I still haven´t had to change my timezones yet ;)

P.S.
Marina´s computer isn´t working right now, and I am using her fahter´s work laptop, so I can´t download my pictures on to it... Maybe in about five days I can put up some pictures.

ok, well I'm leaving for Spain tomorrow, it'll be an 11 hr flight!! I don't really know anything about flying so pray for me! I'm sooo excited!

GOING TO SPAIN

So, Hey everyone this is just a test posting, I'm leaving for Spain in less than a week, and I hope to keep everyone up to date on my Where abouts.
